Spoilerfactory.com Roadster spoiler update!
I received a second spoiler from the spoiler factory and the paint on that one was bad also.
I decided to take it to my body shop and they say it wont fit anyway!
I called the spoiler factory and they finally admitted that none of the 350z roadster spoilers fit and would be giving me a full refund! After much arguing and BS at least they are stepping up to the plate. If you have a coupe get one unpainted, you will probably be fine, if it was me I would stick to OEM, just my 2 cents.

it is good that they are going to give you a full refund, but what i dont understand is why the heck they would advertise it as fitting a roadster when they knew it wouldnt fit? that makes no sense to me.
im casually searching for a spoiler too and havent come across any that i like yet... that would fit.

If they were really stepping up to the plate they would stop selling spoilers that they KNOW won't fit and taking people's money.
Anything less is just lip service to get you to go away.
Unless they stop selling them until they fix the problems I would consider them crooks. Selling a product that you KNOW is defective is pretty much the definition of fraud.

By stepping up to the plate I was referring to them refunding my money. They supposedly just discovered the problem and are not selling the spoiler any longer. I am not sticking up for them,I am just glad i am getting my money back!

If after finding the problem they pull it from the market until the problem is fixed then that is cool.
I am the one that posted the other problem on 350Z forum. They refused my refund saying exchange only. I disputed it with my CC card company and they just charged them back. They refused delivery on it when I tried to return it! Bet they will be looking for it now that they got charged back $222.00. This company...Well what's a nice way of saying it? THEY SUCK! STAY AWAY
I finally found a reputable company making an OEM style spoiler for the Roadster.
http://www.texasdar.com/
I don't know if they sell to the public or not, but my spoiler came in late yesterday, and it is flawless.
I went through my Nissan dealership & they use an aftermarket place here in Nashville to do their work. The cost isn't cheap ($430, painted & installed), but the spoiler is warranted for 3/36K, the install is lifetime warranted. The owner of the aftermarket shop was the general manager of Texasdar's main competitor for over 20 years & has 40 years in the manufaturing end of the spoiler/bodykits side of the business.
The spoiler I got was 'blow-molded', not fiberglass & should hold up better.
My service manager received a communication from Nissan, claiming they weren't going to produce a true OEM spoiler for the Roadster themselves.
Also, they don't recommend using the coupe spoiler, due to a 'pitch' difference.
I'll post pictures as soon as I can.
