Question What to look for in a new 350z?

Hey guys,

I just sold my 5.0L v8 stang about 2 months ago and I have been looking for a car since. The 350z has become my top choice now. But after i googled "problems with 350Z" i can across issues from easly chiped paint to bad trannys. I notice lots were from the 2003 modles tho. Has anyone had problems??? Or know of any paticular years to avoid. In from Canada too so im not sure if that changes anything. Lots of cars from California tho here since B.C is right across. Any info on what to avoid and what to check for in a used 350Z?? I really wan't to find the perfect 350 that I can work on and keep. Im going to try to find one under 40,000KM, standard, and hopefuly 2005+, my budget is around 20,000G Top since i don't want to spend all my money on a car. Becasue of snow i need to pick one up after Febuary.

Thanks for all the help, I tried serching for a thread like this but couldn't find it. Im just a n00b still.

Just the usual stuff like transmission and paint chipped front bumper. And oh yes. Windows operate properly. Window motors cost and arm and a leg.
