Default Anyway to change the top color?

I am looking into getting a 2005, and everything is good except I dont like the dark blue top. Is there any possible way to make the top black without having to replace it? Will dying work without causing problems? Thanks.

If you don't like the color of the roof, don't buy the car. Just keep looking. I think the top material is vinyl so dyeing would seem to be out of the question.

Replace the top with a new one or pick a different car

Years ago we used to dye convertible tops and vinyl roofs. It was pretty easy, tape it up, clean it, and spray. I even did a couple in my garage and they turned out great!

Dye it....going from blue to black is a lot easier than other colors.

You can't paint the top. You will need a new top which is $450+ labor.

Where are you buying your top from? 450$ is a good price. My top has a couple tears and needs to be replaced. I could use some help. Where can I get a good top?

I'm going to correct myself. Yes, I have seen different types of tops for sale and some are cheap new. I'd say you get what you pay for. I'm replacing my top soon and have done a lot of research on different tops and amounts that they cost. I'll be posting up a thread soon, listing the tops and differences and cost.
