I have an 04 Roadster and was just given a bra, anyone know how to install it?

 

I hope you mean clear bra, if not:

1. Open garbage can.
2. Place into garbage can.
3. Close garbage can.

Just playin, if its not a clear bra but a regular one, are you looking to prevent rock damage? Or are you trying to hide existing damage? Personally i'd rather drive around with rock chips than a bra on the car.

 

I wouldn't put one on either but the bra should have clips on them to clip/attach to the fenders and bottom of bumper. Silly question but have to ask - instructions from manufacturer?

 

Guess it depends how flexible you are. You can either slip it in place then reach around back to do it up or put it on backwards, do it up, spin it around back then slip on the shoulder straps.

I've seen both ways work fine so I guess whatever you find most convenient.

I have this bra and love it. I’m not a big fan of having a giant clear sticker put on the entire front end of my car but that’s just me.

Installing it is quite easy the main thing to note is the two snaps on each end of the bra as illustrated here:



You will need to get two male snaps (any fabric store should carry these) and they go on the first available hole (you will see a plastic screw in it just remove it and screw the male snap into the same hole). Here are some shots of mine:







As to the rest of the install its quite easy. Open the hood and attach the row of clips to the top of your bumper, then pull down on the bra and you will see at the bottom two large plastic clips, one on each side. These attach to the underneath of the car you will have to stretch it a bit but they will attach. Then you will see two more rows of clips, one goes to the underside of your bumper, the top of your radiator opening. The other set go to the bottom of your radiator opening (you will see how this works when you do it). Then you will have a series of clamps on the ends that stretch to your wheel well areas (again these will be quite obvious). Finally pull and snap the two ends to the snaps you installed and wala... done.

One thing I would suggest is pull off this bra often as dirt and sand will get caught in between it and the paint. Also, remove it from time to time and let the sun hit that paint, especially if your car sits outside all the time (this will keep the paint from changing colors on you). Finally, I use Vinylx on mine to keep it from drying out.
