Rattle On Dash Near Window On Driver Side
I have recently developed a rattle on the dash near the window. It seems like it's comming from the security light but it may be to the left of this. Has any one else experienced this?

Yes, it's the security light. I tried prying it up lightly but it didn't budge. Dealers have a TSB for rattles that should be worth a try.
My rearview mirror cable connector rattles too.

I have that, too! I notice it mostly when the car is cold. Seems like all I have to to is touch the area and put a little pressure on the surface and it goes away. Never did notice it until it got cold here; and it not very often, at all.

Same problem...
It was so annoying that I had to put a little piece of rubber between the dash and the windshield. Work great!
I mentioned the issue to my dealer during my first oil change; they put apart the dashboard and claimed they fixed it, but the rattle came back few days later! I guess I'll have to live with my little piece of rubber....

I just developed the same rattle at the security light on left side of dash. I have a '04 Roadster Touring. It seems that when you apply pressure to it from the top it goes away for awhile.
Seems more noticeable when its cold out <45 degrees.
I also am noticing a rattle in the passenger seat area when I go over a slight dip or bump. Anybody out there noticed that ?

My security lamp housing rattles too. Just a little pressure and it stops. There is an identical noise coming from the passenger dash area as well. There is a thing that looks like the security lamp bezel on that side too. I would love to have disassembly instructions. I hate all dealerships. Bunch of incompetent *****.
Here's the deal. The service guy actually heard it on the test drive. They have to keep her overnight and all of tomorrow to take the dash apart to fix. The problem, this is not in the VIN range for the rattle TSB from Nissan. I emplor all of you to go get service on this so that Nissan will release a TSB.
Got it back, they need to order more padding for it. Then they will put it on, I guess. LA, do you have any interior pics? I's like to see if it's worth it to go after those seats in my LS roady.
Here's a pic I downloaded from ebay when I was considering the color combination. (Mine is Manual)
I absolutely love the look/feel of these seats!!!!!!
The only problem is that the mesh on your back turns your body into an electrostatic conductor. I get a small shock when I touch metal (ie the door) after driving on dry days.
