Default Radar detector install??

How do I remove the drivers side windshield pillar post trim & the trim across the top of the windshield to run wires up to a radar detector

IIRC you need to remove the weatherstripping first.

No, you don't. What weatherstripping? This is the interior A-pillar the OP is asking about.

Got this out of How to remove headliner thread.




OP you will most likely need to drop the front of the headliner a tad to tuck the wire properly, at least I did.

It's pretty easy to tuck the wiring under the front of the headliner. I did it with my fingertips when I installed a Homelink mirror on my base-level car. I didn't peel off the weatherstrip either, just had to pull the edge back over the A-pillar trim after clipping it back in place.
