Anyone ever got after market seats that they like? I have been looking a few different kinds from Z1 and some others. I just want something that holds me better and reclines. I went to the tail of the dragon and the seats didnt hold from side to side very well. I have the cloth seats now in a 06 350 z enthusiast.

I am 6'3" @ 280 and I fit in my roadster fine. I driven it everyday for work and it fit me fine. Though after a few years I found on long hauls to Dallas & Austin here and there the bottom of the seat started to become numbing on the old rear end. So, about 4 years ago I had an upholstery shop add about 2 inches of high density foam on the bottom and back of the drivers seat. I stuck around when they started the work to see what was underneath the leather. Let me tell you not much! There is about and 1 to 1.5 inches of yellow high density foam and that's it. Since then it has been comfy.

I'm 6ft and my ZR is plenty comfy- weekend roadtrips to Chicago are fine for me and my fiance (no complaints!!!)
You will hear from others that the Roadster is ugly with the top up. Yes, this is true... the coupe has much better lines, BUT YOU DON'T BUY A CONVERTIBLE TO KEEP THE TOP UP! ZR's look damn sexy with the top dropped....

I have a 2004 ZR and I've driven it from Los Angeles to Austin, TX and back twice, Los Angeles to Omaha, NE and back once, Los Angeles to Salt Lake City and back 3 times, Los Angeles to the Grand Canyon north rim in Arizona and back once and several trips from Los Angeles to the San Francisco area and back and most recently my longest road trip ever, from Los Angeles to Melbourne, Florida and back, a 5200 mile + round trip.... plus I'm out in my car driving anywhere I can all the time... all over LA and the surrounding area.
The ZR is quite comfortable I think, for what it is... I'm 5'10 and about 190. After a couple if hours of driving you definitely need to get out and stretch though and sleeping in the car is possible but VERY uncomfortable. After my last trip my ZR now has just over 115k miles on it and I've never had one single mechanical problem with the car... seriously the best and most reliable vehicle I've ever owned and @ 44 years old I've owned quite a few different vehicles. The only thing that needs frequent replacement is my back tires... and my car is the 5AT... my transmission has been bulletproof so far, just like the engine.
Sorry to have taken this thread a little off track!
