How much power can the AUTO trans. hold

I don't wanna blow up my future trans and I cannot have a stick for the fact NYC traffic sucks! I wanna top the engine out as much without hurting the trans. thanks

Mods. almost complete on my '04 w/auto tranny. Will let you
know specifics when tuning is complete and Ine had a chance to
put a few more miles on it.

More than you can put into it. Since you bought an Auto Roadster, I figure you probably aren't trying to throw a TT or SC in there.
