Has anyone had experience with having to replace the Intake Valve cover (with solenoid) and not simply the solenoid? What would cause the full cover assembly to need replacement? of course this is what a dealer is telling me after having the check engine light come on at 41k, Big difference in price between the full cover assembly 13040-JK22B and the solenoid....23796-ZE00C

Like any sensible person i question anything a nissan dealer tells me so wondering why the full cover assembly would be needed??

Is the solenoid replacement hard to do for the average bear?
