Default Does anyone know how to take off 2nd plastic pannel on the trunk?

I am currently trying to install a spoiler on my Roadster.

Does anyone know how to take off the 2nd plastic pannel on the trunk so I can drill a hole to the metal?

It seems like coupe & roadster is different. Also, I got an after market spoiler so the bolt pattern is different than the original spoiler.

Really need your help.

If would also be nice if someone could post a pic.

I'll take a look when I get home tonight. I downloaded the manual for the roadster and it should be in there somewhere.

Here is a link to the nissan/infiniti site where you can view, download or purchase service manuals. For $20 you can access anything on the site for 1 day.

Richardew,

thank you soo much for the pics.

I was wondering if you had any more pics. What I was talking about was the 2nd plastic pannel. The one after the 1st one. The pic shows the 1st plastic pannel.

Thanks again.

I'll look when I get home from work tonight. I thought that was all of the pics. If I had any foresight I would have brought the disk with me to work, although it takes most of my concentration in the morning getting myself out of bed and dressed with 2 socks that are the same color.

The 2nd panel Does not come off. If you want to install a spoiler you will have to drill through it with a bigger bit so you can get a socket up to the metal.
