New rdstr, 6 1/2 days, 850 miles
Picked up my SS/BO 6MT roadster last Monday afternoon. It had 12 miles on the odometer. I've been impressed so far, but can't wait 'til I hit 1200 miles, which should come during a road trip next week.

Man, I've had my Roadster three months now and all I can muster is about 800 miles. The weather has been crappy and I only take it out on the weekends if the weather is okay.
I'm also anxiously waiting for the break-in period to end so I can finally put down these obnoxious little tennieboppers that pull up to me in their mom's Camry and rev their engines.

Yup. Nothing but impressed for me either. After nearly a month I only had 800 miles on it, but thanks to having to drive to just about the Arizona border for a wrestling tourney, I was able to close in on 1200, even if it did mean driving home in the rain. Grr...dirty car...still raining...dirty...car. I'm close to washing it in the garage at this point.
Anyway, chasing the team van down on I-8, I look down at the spedometer and realize I'm doing 112. DAMN! I really thought I was doing 80. No sense of the speed whatsoever with the top up. Yeah, I know...Top up???? It was 40 degrees coming through the mountains. Not to mention it was 6:00am and the sun was barely rising. Cut me a little slack

I've had my roadster for 11 days and have 450 miles on it. I am so surprised that the weather in Boston has been perfect for driving my new car. I was fully expecting that this would be safely garaged until mid April. It was so nice yesterday, that I had the top down twice. This is unheard of in February in the northeast.
I had to call my salesman yesterday and let him know that my test drive of this car did not do the it justice. The more I drive it, the more I love it. Could it be true--- "First lust, then Love"?

I'm on day 48 of owning my new Z, and I've got 2,500 miles on her. She is my daily driver, and if I didn't enjoy driving her so much, I might feel guilty for taking her through the rain and other bad weather.
The weather here in central NC is incredible this week! I've drive to work and home from work for the last 2 days with the top down. It's gonna be 80 degrees for the next two days, and you better believe my commute will be topless!!
Heck, I love the top down so much that I've driven her with the seat warmer and the heater on high on every sunny day when the temp was above 40 F.
