Default Is it worth buying?

I'm not a huge fan of the roadster, but stumbled upon the below. Would you buy?
2005 Roadster Enthusiast - Yellow - 89,000mi - $3,000

I own an 06 ZR and love it. Question - Why buy a car you don't love?

I do love 350Z's, just my preference would not be convertible. If the price is right, my preferences can be adjusted.
Is that price decent? I saw trade in value at around 4-4500. Is that realistic?

Condition? I mean, key point and all.

That said, I once said, in the last decade, I wouldn't own a convertible (other than a Datsun roadster) NOR would I own a red car.

Uhhhhh, three convertibles and two red cars later..... But, my point... 'Verts are wonderful. I mean, 5 out of 5 visits to the islands (by ourselves, just me and wife) and not schlepping family, we rent a 'vert. Figured, "Why not own one?" (Or a few. )

This post borders on silly.
1st, you're asking people's opinion whose financial picture may be vastly different than yours for payments, repairs and insurance.
2nd, there are aren't even pictures to judge the condition. Smh.

If the canvas top needs replacing there's $800 if you do it at home. If the mechanicals for the top crap out it's likely $1000+. Also if the power open/close motors die you need to be aware that there's no way to move or stow the top. So if the top is stuck in the up position you can't drive it, it'll ruin the frame.
Hope this helps.

I just bought a 2008 roadster with 30,400 miles on it for $13,500 and I love it. Mine is in mint condition and it’s a great car. I would recommend buying one to anyone else, but wouldn’t want one with over 100k miles. The roadster I bought came stock with everything, sound system, exhaust, chrome wheels and it only has 30k miles
