DS power window inop and making noise
Power window for DS inop, switch making noise up/down. Replaced switch twice and fixed issue for awhile then back to the noise and inop window. Pass side works. Motor replaced 2 times by me, og motor seems to have been replaced by prior owner, still not working. video below of issue.

The switch is making that noise? Not the motor?
I’m thinking there’s something wrong with the motor or regulator. The motor might be getting overloaded, to much resistance. It’s possible the switch has poor contact if moisture got inside causing corrosion and maybe the motor is starved for power. The switch boxes are sealed pretty good so this is unlikely, but possible.
I think one of the gears in the motor gearbox/transmission is broken. The teeth probably sheered off and now it’s just free spinning with minor contact (hence clicking/whining) The gears are plastic, and if the window regulator isn’t adjusted properly, you will overload the motor and gear drive causing this to happen.
You will need another motor assembly. But make sure to inspect your regulator. All the cable pulleys need to spin freely. Also check your glass alignment with the window tracks and seals. If not adjusted properly, the motor and possibly the regulator will fail prematurely.
Btw, the OEM motors can be rebuilt. I don’t trust the aftermarket units.
Good Luck!

Maybe the switch has some kind of short circuit protection. I suspect you have a wiring fault. You will need to get wiring diagrams and check continuity for the switch box. Wiring diagrams can be found in the FSM, which can be downloaded for free from Niccoclub. If this all sounds like more than you can handle, then take it to a professional. Debugging electrical issues can be difficult/confusing.
I've never heard or seen this issue before, so I don't know of or have any tips/tricks that would help isolate the issue. You've tried firing the parts canon already and the issue remains, so something else is at play.
Good Luck!
