Default Insulation coming out????

Anyone have this happen to your roadster?

Finally got some decent weather around here so I was able to wash the roadster and put on the first layer of Zaino. Saw the above and was wondering if I should just cut it off or bring it into the dealer.

What do y'all think?

I haven't seen it on mine yet, but I know that I'd take that to the dealer and let them handle it.

Angry Loose sticky insulation

I had a piece of the insulation/rubber material sticking out on the drivers side, at the part of my top closest to the driver door handle. Knowing what a dealership can do to a car (Fuc* it up) and never admit they did it, I decided to remove it myself. I just pinched it and pulled a little then trimed it very carefully with a razor blade. You don't have to trim it right down to ground zero, because the stuff is kind of sticky and you can push the little excess you will have after triming back up under the top.

If you don't feel comfortable doing it, go ahead and take it to the dealer but, keep your fingers crossed you don't get it back with 50 miles on it.........you know how the dealers seem to always have to test drive a "Z" after doing anything to it........

Good Luck and HAPPY MOTORING!!!!!!!1

I had a little piece like that pop out. I just ripped it off, never had a problem since (was about 2 months ago).

is your roadster a 2004 or a 2004.5 ?

I have read other posts that said they changed the top some in the 2004.5
