Well for my $.02, you know what I have.

I went with the Crawford's for the performace! I don't know anything about the other 2 that you are considering, but I can tell you that the Crawford's actually are what they say they are: Long-tube, equal lenght headers. The things are massive. You'll know what I mean when you can actually take a look at the stock manifolds.

As far as customer service goes, IMHO you can't get any better than Doug. He answered any & all questions that I had, told me what I needed & let me know exactly when to expect my parts.

Yeah I know that they are expensive, almost 2x the DC's, but this is not an item that you want to be cheap on. This is not something that you're gonna wanna replace anytime soon, trust me you'll know what I mean after you've done the install. I've sworn that I'll sell my car before I try & replace them.

If you have more questions, call Doug he knows not only his product, but many of the others as well. He's been working on Z's a long time & definately knows his stuff. (615) 327-4159

I just traded my DB enthuasist for a SB touring roadster. We spent the weekend transferring the Stillen supercharger and intercooler as well as the Nismo exhaust over. I drove it for 2 days while the hood was being painted and boy does the supercharger whine sound great with it off. I hated to put it back on. What a car!!!!

We have tried installing NISMO headers on a 350ZR... We ended up having to bend the piping to get it to work... Not doing it again... but bashing it enough got it to not rub on the steering column...

High Flow cats no problem..

Every mod you do on the 350ZC that doesnt involve the header you can do those mods...

NISMO / AEM CAI when we install we do not install the long pipe so the filter sits just lower then where the JWT pop charger sits...

What's different? I've done headers on both the Coupe & Roadie with out doing anything different. Did I miss something? So far the only thing that I've noticed that's different is the '03Coupe has a hood sensor that my '04Roadster doesn't.

I had my headers installed few weeks ago and my mechanic did not seem to have any problems.

Thats very interesting. Anyway, I am leaving soon to go to Performance Nissan to pick up JWT Popcharger.

Jason if you are there, you guys can jack up my car and take a look at it.

I was on the dyno not long ago, ran 236Hp & 230torque, but the Air Fuel readings were way lean. Plan on installing the Crawford Plenum & Strut bar then send off my ecu & dyno's to Technosquare. Should take care of my lean position as well as low Hp numbers.
Hey Buff,

Did you ever resolve the lean situation?

Actually the lean position seems to have worked itself out for the most part. I haven't been to the Dyno since March, but I pulled the plugs a couple of weeks ago & everything looked like it was back to normal.

I'm askin the wife for a Data Logger for Christmas!

That's good to hear. It is consistent with a lot of other posts I've read that say the ECU will compensate. Please let us know when you dyno, as something else I read was that the ECU compensation would diminish some of the gains that the mods advertise. A reflash seems the way to fully utilize the power made available by NA mods, but I just don't know.

I am just reading and learning... THANKS!

I tried installing Kinetix High Flow Cats on my 2004 roadster but the fit didn't seem right. I got them on but they were touching the underside of the car. I considered this to be unsafe, at the worse, because of the heat generated by the cats might cause a fire and at the least a potential uncomfortable situation due to heat transfer to the cars interior.

Actually there have only been 2-3 major changes to the Crawford Plenums. Seems to be that he's cleaned them up a bit (made them pretty) & folks have dubbed it a new "version" Not to worry a V4 is the same as a V-5 for the Crawford folks (can't say the same for "another" company)

As for the comment that the ECU over time will reverse the effects of engine modds I call BS!!!!! Try & tell the stock Redline that I chased down all weekend that I'm running the same setup he's got!

I LOVE MY CRAWFORD HEADERS!!!!!!!

With the mods in my sig I recently pulled 349whp, with some tuning they said I could another 20 to 30 more. And for exhaust mods, stay away from RSR GT2, I had to remove mine because the noise was so loud it would give me a headache every time I drove the car.
