Default Eek, Wasp!

Anyone ever had this happen: a HUGE walnut sized wasp flew into my car when I was stopped at a traffic light with my top down. I was on my way to lunch with my boss, and it landed right in front of him, on the dash. He bounded out of the car, into the road! Then the wasp flew onto my steering wheel, then onto my shirt! YIKES! I opened my door and swatted it off, didn't get stung. Whew!

LOL....I've been driving ragtops for the last 8 years or so and I've never had that happen.

Once upon a time, when I had my motercycle, I did have a bee fly up my leather jacket. I was able to pull over and get off the bike. I almost had the jacket off when the bee stung me. Damn bee!

I had a bee fly into the car when I was taking my driving test back in my teen years... I was already nervous, but that just added to the whole stressful event.

But man, I wish I had been there to see it, especially if your boss is a big dude. It WOULDN'T have been too funny if he swung your door open in the frantic flight out and hit another car to the side of you

One bee flew in from the window as I was pulling away from a green light (not in a ragtop at the time), with heavy traffic behind me. It hit the rearview mirror, dropped on top of my right leg, and slide down between my shorts and my leg. Stupid thing had time to sting me twice before I could pull over and get it out of my shorts.

Damn! I'm allergic to them so I have a fear of one flying in my car while I'm driving. I have no idea what the hell I would do but I can tell you right now, it wouldn't be pretty.
