Default Delivery date.....

My dealership is drving me and my parents crazy. When the car was ordered in december, they said "start of April, no problem" After the 1st of the year, it was "MMMmmm, mid to late April" Just a few weeks ago they bumped it too "May 5 for sure". Just yesterday my dad got a call from the dealership sayin "In the next 2 weeks".

It's it the dealership i'm workin with, or did anyone else get the run-around when it came time for pickup dates...

Almost all of the time a dealer will tell you 2 to 3 months.
Almost all the time the reality is at least 4 months.

Why do you guys have to wait 2 to 3 months for a car.

They are easy to find in almost any color but white here.

If you check the Nissan USA web site you can build your car then do a search of dealer inventory in your area.

You should be able to get the dealer to track and show you where the car is. I ordered my ZR on Jan 19 2004, it showed "At Sea" on March 24, "Port Processing" on March 31, and arrived at the dealer's lot on Apr 14. It rained and snowed since it arrived, so I am waiting for the road to dry up before picking it up. The wait is even worse knowing it is sitting at the lot waving at me every time I stop for a visit.

do like I did: get on ebay. These dealers have cars and will (some of them anyways)negotiate prices. I found my car on a Sat., had it the next Friday equipped exactly as I wanted.

My dad is tryin to track it, the sales dept. is workin on a vin for us. They also "HAD" to have the white w/ white int. and some other random stuff. So that made the wait longer too.

Thanks for the input guys...
