Default Instruction for reset ECU for roadster

I tried to reset my roadster ECU with the instruction for the coupe but can not get it to work.

Does anybody know how to do this?

Thanks

wouldn't taking out the proper fuse out of the fuse box do the same thing, and still keep your radio station presets in place?

Is it that difficult to answer his question?

I don't understand your point. It's a PITA to reprogram the stations, and if popping a fuse will do it then it's a NO BRAINER.

I have not messed with the fuse box in the Z yet. I know that some newer cars have 2 electrical distibution blocks. Sometimes its harder to identify the proper fuse than to just disconnect the battery. So if you know what fuse(s) all of the ECM power network is connected to I guess it would work.

Sorry z0ner I just don't see the big PITA factor about reprgramming the radio stations.

reprogramming the radio station the clock, and possibly the Homelink system is not really a PITA, but that along with disconnecting and reconnecting the battery terminals is a lot more work-intensive than removing a fuse.
