04 Coupe -> 04 Roadster
Since we recently purchased a convertible for my wife, I've been bitten by the "convertible bug".
Today, I put a deposit down for an 04 Touring Roadster and I'll be trading in my 04 Touring Coupe.
I drove a DB with frost leather roadster yesterday and it drove very well. A very small amount of cowl shake for a convertible car. I want a roadster with dark or the ventilated burnt orange leather seats to avoid the dirt and other things that will show up on light colored leather seats. I loved the DB color on the car, but the light colored seats were not my first choice.
The dealership is trying to locate one they can swap for from another dealership. My coupe is Chrome Silver and I thought I change it up a bit and go for the Le Mans Sunset, Redline or Silverstone.
If anyone wants to own a CS 04 Touring coupe that appeared in a newsweek article picture (
), it will be at the Nissan dealership in Shingle Springs, CA in a few weeks.
Just had to share with others that enjoy the Z. My wife doesn't seem to care one way or the other.

I did that last month, 03 to 04 ZR. What a great upgrade! I lost a bit, but it is almost worth it to me.
Since I did it this time on a purchase I want to do some really nice mods, but I will wait til I get a few thousand miles on the engine before I start to tweek with it.

I did it! Yippee! I lost a little bit, but I'm so glad that I did. It's the best decision I could have made. Just hoping that I don't have the feathering, etc... My first convertible...
If you have a coupe and have that feeling that you should trade...
the convertible is better.
Whew.

Got my roadster about a month ago and can't wipe the smile off my face. Getting ready for a topless road trip (lots of sunblock). Never had a convertible before either and can't figure why it took me so long!
