are you planning on more body kit like wings and side skirts? if not the hood is a bit too aggresive for the rest of the stock body. I think Jason from Performance Nissan has those hood as well. you can probably find more pictures of those hoods from him

Actually no... [body kit mods]

Although I love roadster as is... (been lookin at hoods)
am kinda interested in it being a bit more SB distinctive
from other SB's, and hood seemed like an easy change
to satisfy that naughty thought... however your point of
it being a "bit too aggresive (by itself)" is well taken.
Obviously, I am still undecided about such a change,
as I asked for others opinions. Appreciate comments.

Man, am glad to hear someone has seen this...

I have been TOLD about it, but have NOT seen it.
And although I was told it looks good, was wondering if I would be better off to leave this area alone!

Will not be ordering this $299 console kit, unless I see it myself.
(carbon fiber door panels were included - window switch area)

Thanks!

I've seen that hood in person and I'm not a fan.

My favorite is still my ings+1. It looks good in black too.

A Nice looking hood (RE: small image), please post a larger image of it (if you would). Would also appreciate it if you could let me know where I can get a ings+1 in black, and how much it might set me back...

Try painting your interior it turns out much better. And I agree with elyliu that hood is too agressive, check out Seibon cf hoods, Power Enterprises cf hood, and ViS cf hoods.

Since I started this opinions thread awhile back, seems I should now make a note about future mods (as I appreciate all your input and time in your responses), considering the 05 info now available...

So far I have added a JWT Popcharger and low dust brake pads to the front of my black baby. Will not be doing anything else until I see what the "grand touring" and 35th anniversary deal amounts to in January 05.

Depending on what they come out with then in Jan 05, I most likely may be selling my 04 garage/cover kept ZR (all the stock options) hand bottled water washed (spotless!), 4 times a week perfect detailed polished, immaculately kept interior & exterior, every 2K oil changed, pampered super black baby for an 05 super black baby ZR.

Someone is going to get a well kept & well loved Z!

Wow. I like the look. Is that trim prepainted and just replaces the original or do you paint the original trim. If it is original, how do you get the smooth finish when the original has that texture to it?

I agree. I almost ordered it when a friend told me to go and check it out on a Roadster at the dealer. I was sooooo glad I didn't put that in my car. Cheesy.

Stay far away from dash kits. I had one and it was terrible. Had it removed.

Get it painted by a pro. That's what I did after the kit. Paint job cost around $450 and it looks great. There are pics of my dash in the following threads. I just attached the audio thread because there is a pic of the door armrest painted. The place that did it color matched the silver in the rings around the guages and A/C controls.
