Got my Yellow ZR over the weekend and I saw a posting for an Ultra Yellow coupe, but that's about it.

Has anyone here purchased Ultra Yellow ZR or is
considering/waiting for one?

I love that color too... My color preference was in following order...
I'm so glad I waited this long for yellow to come out...

Yellow (only metallic colors like Ultra Yellow)
Silver Stone w/ Burnt Orange
Lemans Sunset
Brickyard

and all the other colors, but Z by any other color looks hundred times better than most cars out there...

I really love Ultra Yellow with black interior because it matches 69 Stingray 427 roadster that I've been searching for past few years

My collection would be complete if I can find me one of these...

 

I have SB, but I do like the yellow.

 

I just saw one at the dealer today and last night. It had everything, NAV, automatic, 18" rims. Price was 42300.00 .
I think this ar would look swweet with the 5 -spoke 18" chrome rims. I am set on this color!

 

we have one here zr 6spd with silver 18's. It would look ALOT better with some 19inch black wheels with a nice fat polished lip. The silver wheels suck on it imo. The yellow is a lot nicer than i thought it would be from the pics

 

I saw the Chrome rims on a touring UY at a dealer, which are somewhat overpriced IMO. Regardless, they looked awful! I don't think chrome was meant for anything but SUVs IMO.

 

I agree...I don't like chrome rims on the Z. IMO anthracite rims look the best on these cars.

what did you get and for how much if you don't mind me asking

 

Mine is ZR Touring 5AT... no NAV
MSRP for 40K even plus 2500 worth of dealer options

Dealer wouldn't deal without those...
I got chromed 18"s, window tint and wheel lock...

But overall, I love the car and no regrets

 

not a big fan of the chrome, with the roadster i'd probably get automatic too, less to be distracted by, plus you'll need one hand on the steering wheel, other on your girl or out the side, pick your look, great car man.

My wife and I talked about getting another Z... She's talking me into buying a coupe (Enthusiast or Performance) so she can have ZR, exclusively... Nice try!!!

 

Just got the drool off my chin. DB is def my fav, but I want to get a color that most people don't have. I rarely see Red or Yellow in my area and in fact saw a Black one this morning, something else I haven't seen in while. How would most people rate the color popularities after the three shades of Gray/Silver, etc. My thought is DB might be most popular. What are your thoughts on the color popularities. And which do you think the Z really looks best in? Is Red the classic color that we knew the old Z in?

 

I still like my lemans color best, but I have to admit the yellow is super nice-- I'd be damn happy with it. And the chromes wheels are FANTASTIK!!!! You will enjoy that hotrod for a long time.

 

Eh, the chrome I'm not a fan of, they are heavy as **** I think too. I'm sorry to let you Z fans down but I wanted a sunroof and backseat so I get a an '04 Red G instead, with premium package, spoiler, leather 6mt, no navi.
