Default Winter

Winter is coming about soon....if not feeling like it is hear in some parts of the country!

I just went through my first rain and I had left the car outside and it leaked though the latch.....

Being in Southern California I probably will be able to drive with my top down most of the time.

Just curious how the rest of you guys/gals plan on going through the rest of this year with out the top down???

I have driven through very heavy rain, and blasted the seams of my top when washing the car, and have never seen any leak whatsoever!

No leak on mine thru heavy rain. You should take it back to get it fixed.

BTW, mine is going for a winter nap for a few months starting this Friday.

I don't get this whole winter storage thing. I bought some michelin pilot alpines and the car drives better than most FWD's that have all seasons. I definatley stops better.

I do live in Toronto so we never really get more than an inch or two of snow on the streets. I suppose clearence could be an issue.

Plus driving down a snowy street with the TCS off is a blast.

I was parked on my driveway which has a slope. I suspect because of the angle of the car water leaked in.

Last night rained heavy and parked on street. It was fine.

I bought a new house specifically for the 3 car garage. My wife has the entire garage filled with garbage........I am getting frustrated every day that I don't get to park in there.

Thats funny. I've been living in our house for nearly two years and half of my two car garage is full of my wifes junk.

I had to compress it into half of the garage in order to get my car to fit. During the first winter I parked outside.

Next summer its all gone!!!

How you can wait that long is impressive to me. I am humble and quiet by nature, but when it comes to my space I am Ivan the Terrible!!!!

My last home I built this beautiful garage just so I may do detailing of my cars. You know I don't ***** and moan on colors of walls and carpet blahh blahh blahhh blahh, but she has crossed the line.

She has been given 30 days to show me that she is ebaying it or junking it!!!!

As long as my car and motorcycle get space in the garage, I'm not too concerned.

What doesn't make any sense to me is why she chose to park outside when she could have been parking in the garage.

Then my mind went to work.......strategy my friend......junk occupying her half of the garage for two years means parking in the garage isn't much of an issue to her.

So I built a big *** work bench and shop area and now the garage can't accomodate two cars.

We will see if this one comes back to bite me in the ***.
