Racing Brake Akebono 2 Piece Rotors - Front and Rear
After following all the various (albeit limited) offerings for 2 piece rotors for Akebono brakes - I've concluded the current development by Racing Brake to be the best option (considering weight savings, quality and price) - they are the best priced lightest available - and as good or better quality than anything else being offered.
They are in development for rear two piece and have a current Group Buy that includes discounted fronts.

If you are interested get in now - the price break ENDS SOON!

I always keep my eyes open for maintenance parts. Am I reading this right? $1,812 for 4 rotors? A little too dear for my budget.

^^^ would have been $1356 had you got in on the GB... you can still get for $1403 if you sign up before the end of month...
After that - yep, its what ever the web site says (or what retailers sell for).
But these are not what I would consider "maintenance parts"... they are performance oriented... you can get one piece replacement rotors for dirt cheap... if that's what you are looking for, this is not for you.
