Default Coming soon: Z1 2 Piece Front Rotors For Sport Package

Already installed on the Z1 370Z company car these new 2 piece rotors will be available for sale soon. The benefits of a 2 piece rotor include reduced rotating weight, better heat transfer, and as a result higher resistance to warping.

Track tested at Talledega Grand Prix and Harris Hill these rotors will be on the shelf and ready to ship soon.

-When is your "soon"?
-How much actual weight reduction on each rotor when comparing to stock one? Please no guesstimate.
-Are there options on hat colors?
-Slot only?
-How was the track tested compare to stock? Any noticeable improvement?
-Price?
-Will rear rotors be available from your shop too?
-Warranty on the rotor?

Highly interested but please answers my questions.

-When is your "soon"? 1-2months

-How much actual weight reduction on each rotor when comparing to stock one? Please no guesstimate. It was 2.6lbs each rotor on the prototype.

-Are there options on hat colors? Yes there will be. What colors do you think would be best? As we will offer black, red and blue.

-Slot only? No. Slotted, cross drilled & slotted and maybe one more

-How was the track tested compare to stock? The powder coater warped his. Ours on both track sessions never faded.

-Any noticeable improvement? No warping.

-Price? TBA. After we hash out the details and the final production is started.

-Will rear rotors be available from your shop too? Yes they will.

-Warranty on the rotor? They will come with a warranty.

[QUOTE=John@z1;7826284]-When is your "soon"? 1-2months Let's make it 1 month and I'll be your first customer.

-How much actual weight reduction on each rotor when comparing to stock one? Please no guesstimate. It was 2.6lbs each rotor on the prototype. That's very good.

-Are there options on hat colors? Yes there will be. What colors do you think would be best? As we will offer black, red and blue. IMO, black hat would be best. Doesn't matter what caliper color it is, the black hat would make a perfect match.

-Slot only? No. Slotted, cross drilled & slotted and maybe one more I'll take drilled rotors if you make it.

-How was the track tested compare to stock? The powder coater warped his. Ours on both track sessions never faded. Good!

-Any noticeable improvement? No warping. I'm not planning to track my car but it's good to hear that I'm buying a quality product.

-Price? TBA. After we hash out the details and the final production is started. Can you give some discount for being your first victim?

-Will rear rotors be available from your shop too? Yes they will. From my research, the rear can't be made...is this true? Have you looked into it?

-Warranty on the rotor? They will come with a warranty. Awesome!

We are working on adapter packages to be able to install these on both 350Z and Z32 applications. We've been testing the brackets on the Z32 already and will be working on the 350Z brackets next.

Are you talking about the calipers themselves? I was wondering about the 2 piece rotors themselves....just to fit the 350Z Brembo calipers. That would require a different friction ring...but maybe not a different hat. Dunno how different the hub is between the 350 and the 370.

We already have a 2 piece rotor in testing for the 350/G35 Brembo. We have a set on our G35 now. They will be available soon.

Nah, it's not too bad we're 45 minutes from ATL, 90 minutes from Birmingham and just down the road from the University of West Georgia and it's 10k students.
