370Z Rear Fog Light - functioning replacement for U.S. Spec Cars?
Hello all!
Has anyone here heard of any aftermarket companies who have and/or are planning something to customize the euro spec rear fog light (which of course isn't there in the U.S. spec version) for the 370?
I just picked up my Monterey Blue 370Z Touring 7AT today and I know I'd like to do something with the rear fog light...I wouldn't mind if I could make it a functioning rear fog light but I'd at least like to do "something" aside from just sitting there looking out of place.
If anyone has any leads/suggestions please let me know.
Thanks!

Google doesn't show anything (as of yet) to specifically replace/make functional the rear fog light for the U.S. spec 370Z...there are companies selling rear fog lights but nothing, that I've found, that is specifically made to fit the 370.

You can buy it directly from the dealership.
The reason Nissan does not offer it with the car is due to strict regulations here in the US (The Nissan guy I talked to at the 370z rally had mentioned something about the fog light being mounted too high for US standards and whatnot, stupid USA regulations..)
Now the wiring, I'm not sure if that's already in the car or if Nissan removed it just for the US...

Um, why aftermarket?
Seems like a good place to look would be OEM... right from Nissan. They built the damn hole... they should plug it up. Surely it's available in the euro markets...
Heh. It's the same as the thread title...

I just spoke with Courtesy Nissan (courtesyparts.com)...they actually do show what's needed to make the light functional on their website (although not the wiring) but apparently the parts aren't actually available yet...of course, it the vehicle isn't already wired for the lamp, it could be a real PITA to make it a functioning fog lamp.
