Square on center of 370z bumper?

Square on center of 370z bumper?
So what is the purpose of the dark square on the center of the bumper? Rear view cam/doppler? trailer hitch? ;-)
It's on the Nismo too.

I knew it had to have some purpose. Its black on a regular 370Z I saw here in the US. Looks like a red reflector here but appears to be JDM/Overseas model (fairlady badge) on closer inspection. Thanks ZeeForce!

contact me for info on the rear fog lamps from Japan, they're a direct bolt on kit, really neat, makes the car look much better from the back
