Default Interest in Carbon fiber parts

Hello all, I have just began to work with someone who makes carbon fiber parts for track cars and he is wanting to brach out into making parts for street cars. Now I know there isn't alot of cf parts available for the 370 yet, so let me know what you guys would be interedted in, ie. exterior/interior parts full replacement parts. There is also a local guy who has a nismo 370 and waants to get it kade in cf, would anyone else be interested in a full cf nismo kit? granted the is no copyright law on making a mold from the oem parts. Let me know what you guys would want.

i forsee an unfavorable response since there was a thread exactly like this a day or two ago. but its a race to be the first to make parts for 370z. anything he can make before another company does will give him an edge. i saw a big dash CF cover piece for 350Z once, and thought it was great looking. purely for show obviously and maybe ricer to some but it looked good. not sure about airbag accidents and that covering the dash though

I'm pretty sure Nissan has a patent on their bumper...do you really want to risk getting contacted by Nissan Lawyers?

Well we'd look into the legality of it before pursuing the cf nismo kit. But it would be just like how all these companys have replica nismo v1 and v2 bumpers.

the standard coupe has been done. If you are planning on doing the nismo bumpers and skirts I don't see you getting much of the market share. Seibon and a few wholesale companies make the fenders, doors, hatch, and hoods already.

I just don't think that replicating the parts has significant legal reprocussions.
Perhaps some samples will spark interest. Talk is... well... you know.

Inquisition threads are fine. Please be aware though if you intend to sell parts on My350z, you must become a vendor.
