Exclamation Afraid of replacing oil pressure sensor HELP

Hey everybody I've searched on how to replace the oil pressure sensor but I've heard of people cracking their oil pan. That's what I'm afraid of. Can you guys please explain to me how to safely remove the sensor without breaking Any thing please. Also all people said to only hand tighten it back in. I'm what to do I'm so paranoid. Any thing will help thanks guys! Happy New years

you want to be very careful removing the sensor 'straight out' and not at any angle. Same thing with the install...use caution not to cross thread. You can easily easily easily over torque the sensor which will crack the upper oil pan. Consider a little thread-lock or a dab of lock-tite blue on the new sensor and simply hand-tighten or (per the FSM LU-14) 9-12 ft*lbs of torque...
