Default difference between 1.5 way lsd and 2 way lsd

this is my daily driver and I do some road racing (twice a year). I'm looking for a lsd and decided on either Kaaz, Cusco, or Tomei. But I can't figure out which way should I get? I'm far from being a pro driver so I want something forgiving too. I read Kaaz website saying 2 way is recommended for RWD cars.

You should look into the OS Giken. It's probably the best differential out there. Only go 1.5 way for road racing. You don't want full lock up on decel.

In 1.5 way mode, the LSD activates under acceleration and is only partially engaged under deceleration. Understeer is less than on the 2 way LSD. Recommended for drivers having difficulty with 2 way LSD understeer, or for those doing street/road race driving.

The 2 way LSD activates on both acceleration and deceleration, making it desirable for drift use.

1. do you have a base model?
2. what tires are you running on the track?
3. what's your budget?

NISMO one would be your best bet as everything needed for install to a base is included - not the smoothest diff out there, but certainly works well

Can't go wrong with a Cusco 1.5.
