this thread has been thouroughly entertaining, but im gonna run a test to see if everybody who says theyre young gets flamed on this site. i am 20 years old. i bought my 2004 z 3 months after my 20th birthday and have had it for 7 months now. my parents bought me my first car when i was 17 years old (also when i got my license...lame) it was a 1999 ford escort zx2 that they paid $1550 for. after one year my friend was borrowing the car and totalled it, i used the little bit of insurance money and bought a 2003 hyundai tiburon gtv6 6 speed which i owned for 18 months and then traded it for my z. now is it bad that i have had any of these cars at a fairly young age?

I took your challenge to go through your post and my question is
How much more is your Dad paying you (his trusty son) than he would a stranger in the same position? Probably a lot more. If he is generous enough to buy you a TT kit ( I would love to see pics, by the way) and pay half your rent, chances are he also gives you one hek of an inflated salary too. Saving 1000 a month and paying expenses just sounds crazy on what a teenager should be making. So following this logic that I fully expect you to deny he did pay for a good portion of your car

i make $12 an hr, 40 hrs a week, that's a reasonable salary. the car i did pay on my own. i'm 19 i live on "the beach club" on dania beach, right on the sea. its obvious i cant pay for the apartment in full. I pay for college, and college its very expensive. and jealous because im not invited into his parties?? i'm in miami we have the craziest parties and the hottest girls...

sorry for the quality of the pic, i took it with my bb like 2 months ago. i need to take good pics of the car, the only pics i have of the car are of the first week i got it, but they are on my dad's house. i'll get new pictures this weekend

One of those only cost 1600 of your hard earned money so I guess you just forgot which company makes it. It is a nice engine bay. Just not yours
