Going from Bose system to Pioneer 4200 DVD
Hi guys,
I have a 2005 roadster with the Bose system. It's not great I know, but it's not that bad. The part I hate de most is the Head Unit, since it can't play MP3, Ipod and doesn't include any interesting features.
My question is, if I buy a Pioneer 4200 DVD, can I only switch the headunits and keep my bose speakers and subwoofer? I will not make the installation myself, don't worry
If I switch the headunits, I know I will probably not get a big gain in sound quality, but I will not lose any right?
Thanks!

iirc you have to get an adapter harness so that the bose speakers will work with the HU,
