Come on Andrew you have to come......lol peer pressure. Depending on how long they go for I might just have to pull an all nighter and just jump onto the train at 5am.

Done it many times... somtimes sucks but right now I dont really work because im clearing and they dont have anything for me to do. Load up on the coffee.

Mpact you finally arrived. Where building are you living at? I live in the barracks right behind Tommy D's.

That 30 day restriction sucks. Its wierd. My unit didnt have that when I first arrived. It really doesnt matter, its only 30 days it will go by quickly.

yea I'm right by Tommy D's also. Bldg. 360

I'll pm you my phone number.

I leave tomorrow though and go back to Camp Stanley for a week of junior nco training.

hahaha i'm still trying to understand how a 28 year old staff sergeant with ten years of service and 3 combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan is junior to some e-7 or captain that doesn't even have a fu$%^& combat patch... I should have never left the USMC!

To add to the "suck" I call my life here in Korea, AAFES new car sales finally wrote me back and said they would only deliver the 370Z to the States and Germany.
I totally agree with you about the Army policies regarding tour in Korea; it wasn't always like that especially before 9/11. mpact1981, I couldn't help but to wonder what you wrote about AAFES new car sales offering sales of Nissan 370Z to the Armed Forces. I thought that AAFES/Exchange new car sales program only offered Domestic brands such as Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Ford, Lincoln, Mercury and of course Harley Davidson(Buell).

Please correct me if I'm wrong and tell me which steps I need to take in order to take advantage of the sale of Nissan through AAFES/Exchange program pretending that I was stationed in Oversea which is a requirement for AAFES new car program.

Thanks, and sorry for butting in your conversations.

www.militaryautosource.com

It's not AAFES exactly but it's an affiliate. They offer the same discounts and rebates and require the same things for eligibility. I used them in Iraq last year when I was going to get the G37, before I found the sweet deal on my (now crashed) Z.

I hope someone takes pics of the meet tonight. I havn't seen hardly any nice import cars since I got here.

Guys! Bad news!! I can't go to the meet tonight.... On my way to change differential oil this afternoon my 3rd gear gave away... I was boosting in 3rd gear when a loud clunking noise and strong vibration shook the car.. I thought I blew up my engine because my oil pressure gauge was reading 0, but the engine was idling just fine... so I quickly shifted to 4th gear and carefully drove to my destination. It turned out the vibration was so intense, it shook a wire loose from the oil pressure gauge... This sucks and what a timing!! I was so excited to meet you guys...

Damn Jay that sucks, I'm sorry to hear about that! No worries on the meet, I'm sure there will be plenty more to come, as the weather gets nicer...oh and what was UP with the traffic today?!!? I guess one can be happy that its not the motor that gave way, like you said.

Update.. I contacted Australian transmission tuning shop called Precision Automation Robotics (PAR). Some of the members in this forum have ordered stronger third gear from them. Another funny thing is that besides the third gear I don't have any problem driving with 1,2,4,5,6 gears.. HAHAH! Just the other day I met M3 supercharger on the street, so I raced him with just 4,5,6 gears I was behind chasing him... He tried, but he wasn't going anywhere as I was right behind his @$$ until he gave up.. I could easily pass him as I was only using about 2/3 of the throttle the whole time.. and no 3rd gear~!
