I put MB Quartz up front, BUT, did not consider the issue with the BOSE system and was not getting anything out of them.

I recently removed them and went back to stock until I decide if I am going to replace the whole system or what...

I just installed pioneer six disc changer this weekend and found there is no place to install it on my 350 and even worse no place to run the wire to the back, from what i can see. So I took out my passenger seat and sat it on the floor, now i am driving with solo Any ideas on where to install it?

The current (Winter '04) issue of Sport Z magazine has an article on just this subject. Check out the website at www.sportzmagazine.com. Bob Bell, the publisher, has a no-holds custom system and it is detailed along with a (ahem) modest upgrade to the OEM system.

The bottom line is that I agree with many of the posters on this thread. Aftermarket 6.5" separates are the way to go up front, with a good amp to power them. Taking apart the OEM speakers and using their mounting bases as spacers is a well-documented and easy step for the DIYer.

I just finished installing my Infinity Kappa Pefects up front. I used a 1" spacer to bring them out, to clear the window. but now they are very close to the grills. i think at high levels they might hit the grills. any suggestions?

My MB Quartz hit the gril as well causing them to pertrude a bit on the bottom...Ohh well worth it. I agree you could do custom grill but as big of a p i t a it is I will live with speaker hitting them
