Default Replacing stock Navi LCD with new one?

I was just wondering if anyone has played around with replacing the stock Navigation LCD with a new one that is higher resolution and/or supports auxillary inputs?

Please excuse me if this has been discussed, I did try to use the search function, but nothing came up except 2 posts that went un-answered.

I don't think anyone has ever replaced a Navigation LCD, the most common thing done is adding a Auxillary to the stock nav screen.

The Stock nav screen is actually pretty good quality

But low resolution... I looked into the Nav-TV thingy, and everyone talked to said that the image looks horrible on the stock nav because it is too pixelated.

If you ever want to come see the quality of my NAV let me know, I go to the OC every weekend.

I must say the quality isn't bad, at all!

I believe you can only get the Nav-Tv through authorized dealers. I have no clue how difficult the instal, or the cost of the parts... I know there is an old thread on it the AV section of the forums, so if you do a serach I am sure you'll find it.
