Default Valentine One...Worth the money ???

I was thinking about purchasing a Valentine One radar detector and was hoping to get some feedback on people experiences. Are you still getting tickets How far does it give you when it goes off? Is there problems with automatic doors or cars with back up sensors tripping it?

Thanks

Chris

plz search this has been beaten to death. I have one and i cant drive a car without it. Yes every radar detector will be alerted by automatic doors. Most doors use xband, and you can disable x band like i did. some doors use the K band. Lots of cops still use K band.

I never leave home without it and it has definately saved me LOTS. I'm also paranoid when I'm driving in a different vehicle because I don't have the beeps that comforts me.

$400 for my V1 is the best money I've spent on my car. You won't be disappointed. The worst inconvenience is that the brake LED on the Chevy Trailblazer will set off the laser sensor (which sounds like an air raid siren when it's activated.) That's a minor inconvenience to live with for all the benefits, though.
