Could you give me some ideas of the available sub enclosure options that do not fit under the rear strut bar? I need a box that can fit in a way that will still allow me to fit a suit case under the z bar. This is for a 10" Rockford Punch sub.

um i think he asked for a box that doesnt go under the strut bar. but your box is still pimp!

 

That would be one that goes into the OEM Bose location. It would need to be a custom job. Contact Toykilla over at **********.com. I believe he might have what you're looking for.

 

Or you could try and work something out to mount them in the corners of the trunk. But it would look weird unless you get another matching sub. Look at Ahsmo's setup, he has a picture of it in his sig.

 

you can usually get a good audio installation store to custom make you a box that will fit into your factory bose spot and the "glove box". I know that you can fit a 12" in the bose slot. in a few weeks im going to have a box made to put my JL 10" from a stealth box (previous car) and put it in with my 300 watt amp. if you want i can ask the guy who is making my box what other kind of stuff he has done to z's??? he has been the installation manager at his shop for 10 years now so he knows what hes doing.

Definitely put a cover over it if you do. I've had stuff roll on top of the speaker back there.

 

I put mine in a box that I had made to fit behind my seat in the 10" subwoofer opeing every Z model has.
Takes up NO cargo room this way.

 

Except the Roadster..or does it have a storage area? Speaking of that, where the heck do Roadster owners put a sub??
