Is it worth the $55 to upgrade my V-1 with the new POP protection?

 

Only if you want the best. I don't know where you live, but in AZ they use pop.

I know they use pop in texas. Most radar gun manufactures are in texas, so they have some of the newest equipment.

The reason I got my V1 updated with pop is because of the J display. When the valentine 1 detects a leaky detector, it displays J on the screen instead of a normal warning. The V1+pop2 will false more on K band.

 

Just remember, it's illegal for them to write a ticket based on a POP reading alone. But being able to detect it will probably avoid the fight.
