First time guys, Need some feedback on this one. I just installed the Kenwood DDx7015 Touchscreen DVD Player. I love it!!! Anyway, I was thinking about going with the TV Tuner, I wanted to ask anyone that has it, how good the reception is? Any issues, concerns? Also, what happend to my radio reception with new HU? I can barely tune in to one FM station! And yes, I did plug the antenna in... That's what I did and love it.
I have the same problem with the radio but mine is because I put in a window mounted antenna.

 

Does anyone have there cell phone hooked up with this system, After reading the manuals, It appears that it is possible, I am assuming with blue tooth enabled phones but not sure. Please assist!!

Also, what do I need for the sirius installations, Antenna and box? And of course the subscription, Just not sure which box to purchase.

 

I've seen a lot of people say great things about this HU. Two questions:

1. Does it have sub-standard radio reception? Local station reception is important to me. (In my experience, the Alpines have wonderful reception, Eclipse not so much, and I have no experience with Kenwood)

2. Does anyone know if there are any plans, or way to use the Kenwood to control the iPod? I'm really hoping to find a double-din unit that will allow simple and easy scrolling through files (play lists, artists, etc.)

Just plugging in the antenna is not enough. The 350Z antenna signal is amplified by power. Therefore, you need to make sure that when you connected the antenna power wire on the wiring harness.

 

Thanks!! I knew it had to be that wire, I didn't connect that wire either, I thought it meant power ant as in the ant that move up and down when the radio is turned off and on. I will hook it up and check it out.

 

To be honest not really sure the TV tuner would be worth it. Mine is okay but wouldn't be really able to watch a TV show while going down the road where I live b/c the reception would never stay in good enough without missing anything. It's good for ball games and stuff b/c you can see the updated score. Don't get me wrong it's cool but not sure if it's worth it.

 

Thanks guys, The blue wire going to the power ant worked perfectly, I will wait on the sirius for now. Anyone have the unit hooked into their cell phone?
