i have an alpine type r sub and would like to make a box to put in that location behind the seet. would like to know more about it. or maybe some directions to do it. i searched but didnt find any thing. i guess i just suck at searching because i remeber reading stuff about this a couple of months ago.

Ok, all the information I have is that you need to dynamat the hell out of that compartment to get good sound. Wether you put it in a box or on the stock bracket...sound-proofing is key!

 

ya thats my plan im putting dynomat in it every where in the sub, glove box, wheel wells and the trunk floor. then i want to put a box in there to for better sound. i dont want to do the spare tire box thing because i might want to use the spare some time. thanks for the info tho
