When you go from 2004 Non-Nav to 2003 Nav compartment, can you take the outside part of the door from the 2004 and attach it to the 2003 one?

The reason I ask is that I painted my whole console area, and want it to match.

Also, if not, does the 2003 Door have the same "texture"?

Dont think that you are able to remove the 04 non-navi to the 03 navi cubby door, different sytle door and btw... when i got my 03 navi door and replaced with my 05 non-navi cubby, the color was different, just wanted to point that out.

Yeah my door cover is a big difference when comparing the two. It almost looks like its gray compared to black.. very noticable.

I just changed mine this past weekend. The two doors are completely different colors, as we all know. I bought black automotive spray paint from the local auto parts place and sprayed my '03 door with 3-4 light coats.

It's a much better match and I'm quite satisfied with the results.

If I can get my camera back up and running, I'll snap a few pics.

Is your door now more glossy than the original?

The door looks the same as your dash right after you've put Armor-all or whatever protectant you might use on it.

Would anyone happen to know what error #B03 means on the Kodak Easyshare CX6445?

I don't think I worded my original question right to get the response I am looking for, so here it is again...

I have painted my console area, including the Nav/Cubby door Lemans Sunset.

I want to change my non-nav 2004 out with a 2003 Nav door to fit a screen.

Can I take the OUTER part of the 2004 door off (the painted part) and attach it to the inner part of the new 2003 mechanism?

I see that it is easy to remove the outside part, I just don't know if the two different years match up...

Has anyone tried this? I've seen lots of painted interiors here...
