Default Stereo Install Finished

I didn't do the work myself but I did have specific ideas on what I wanted done.

Avic-N1 head unit
JL Audio XR650-CSI x2
JL Audio XR650-CXI x2
JL Audio 500/5 Amp
JL Audio 2 6" subs in the stock sub location (forgot model)
Game port installed behind passenger seat in glove box.

The sound is fantastic! I wasn't going for super base but I did want a nice hit when the song calls for it. Trust me this system gets nice and loud!

Anyways here are some pics

Cheers

+1...also how much for the whole setup. I was doing the same thing except going with 8's in the rear for just some clean hard hitting bass. Does this sound good for 6" subs? With the AVIC N1 dont you have to take out the navi disc to play a cd...?

Nothing to show for the subs, I didn't do anything fancy there, but here is a pic. They just built a box back in there and I got the factory "bose" cover to make it look nice.

And here is a pic of the game port

I am not a huge base person, but I do like a nice base sound. The 6's sound awesome, I couldn't ask for anything more.

As far as the navi disk I don't really use the navi CD unless I am going on a trip, but even if you do it can store the route into memory so you can take the CD out if you want. It also has a "home" location mode. Sorta like a snapshot of your local area that it stores to memory so you can look up stuff if you want without putting in the CD all the time.

Those game ports are really cool. That makes me want to install a screen or the 7015 really bad just for the PS2.

Can you remove the Bose cover so we can see the speaker setup better?

I might have to do the game-port thing next weekend. Seems easy enough.

Looks slick. Did they build that box or is it one from ebay?

Santa, if you do rig up one next weekend, I would appreciate a parts list in case I ever decide to do the same.

That little panel with the power outlet and RCA's is awesome.

I know what I would need already. LOL

RCA cables from Radioshack- 3ft.
3 terminal audio/video wallplate from Radioshack
Either take off the plug from your power inverter and extend the wires or use an extention cord with a modified end attached to a wall plate.

I'm gonna do that either tomorrow or next weeked, I'll post a write up when I do it.

What type of power inverter are you using?
