Default Installing new head unit

I am looking to get just a regular mp3/cd player until I can afford the Kenwood DVD player that I want. Well just a couple of questions I need to ask you guys about before installing it. Where can I buy the Metra kit, I heard it was the best kit for the Z. And where can I get the wiring harness? And one last question, I have the Bose speakers on my car and want to know if the speakers will work with my aftermarket head unit. And since I have the 8" OEM sub in the back, how do I get that working at all? Is there an external amp somewhere or is the amp built in the stock cd player? Thanks in advance!

crutch will give you the wiring harnesses to solder onto the wires from the head unit. Then its just a matter of slipping on the harness. Its pretty useful that way too when you go to put the factory head unit back in for what ever reason. Just slip it in and plug the harness back up. No problem.
