rear speaker wires, witch ones the negative and witch ones the positive?

I'll post a really simple tip here that I learned from my dayz as a car stereo installer. You need a 9 volt battery.
Strip the wires and touch them briefly to the battery while watching the speaker. When you get the positive wire connected to the (+) smaller terminal of the battery and the negative wire connected to the (-) larger terminal of the battery the speaker will pop forward. Don't worry about the battery blowing up your speakers - the 9V battery ought to drop about 1-2W's across the speaker. If you connect the thing up backwards the speaker will pull down away from the listener.
Simple and always effective.

ok so the green with the white stripe is positive. and the solid green is the negative. just making sure. i guess im paraniod about hooking it up rong.

Well by the time you get all the plastic off you want to do it right because you know you don't want to have to do it again. I didn't have the manual when I did mine and had to make a SWAG. Later, I confirmed that it was right.
Probably wouldn't make much difference in the sound, though.
