Just wondering for those who have put a system in how you think the acoustics compare to other cars? I have yet to put my system in and was wondering?

Good acoustics, lots of rattles if you like bass.
The acoustics in the Z are great! I've built a pretty big system into my 350Z (Brickyard, Touring, Manual) and I'm more than happy with the results.
Here's what I'm running:
- Kenwood 859 head
- Kenwood Audio Keg media source
- 1 JLA 1000/1 amp for sub
- 2 JLA 300/2 amps for front/rear mids & tweets
- 1 15 farad Alumipro capacitor
- 2 MB Quart QSD 6" sep. mids & tweets (front)
- 2 MB Quart Q-series 6" sep. mids & tweets (rear)
- 1 JL Audio W7 12" subr (fiberglass, tuned-ported enclosure)
Ok, so it's a huge system, but it has amazing sound quality as well as face-peeling bass when you want it. I'll post pics sometime if anyone is interested in seeing it.
I can definitely say that the acoustics in the Z are great... then again, the interior airspace is a very cozy 50.5 cubic feet, so it's extremely easy to fill that space with clear sound if you choose your components well. Also, there are creative ways you can orient your sub to load from the rear of the vehicle to really move air around with a sub.
That said, this car is typical of asian cars in terms of the rattles you get from the factory. For those who aren't into deep bass-on-demand, you'll probably be fine by upgrading the mids/tweets and going with a pre-fab compartment sub. But if you like to get big, you're going to need to be aggressive with your rattle-deadening, because the interior can vibrate pretty loudly at certain frequencies of high-volume bass (worst in mine at 48 - 53 hz). I had v-max installed throughout the rear hatch and under some of the rear body paneling, which took care of nearly every rattle. The 'third eye' brake light still rattles badly under extremely punchy bass conditions, but I'm sure I can take care of that with a little bit of foam once I get the windows tinted.
Thus completes my audio-nerd report on the Z.
