right now Ive got the avh-7500 with the avic-80, but when I saw the d1 I was torn between keeping my twin units or selling them and getting the d1...

what I like about my units is that the nav is a completely seperate unit and I can do whatever I want my my HU on the side (i.e. DVD, CD, MP3, or whatever else while Im driving). Also, the screen on it is 7" as opposed to 6.5" on the d1.

What I like better about the d1 is that I think it looks more flush with the dashboard and flows better with it, as opposed to the flipout screen like the 7500. Also, when the 7500 flips out, it partially covers the nav cubby, and I wanted to put another screen in the nav cubby so I could have that screen always running nav and the main screen for all my other purposes (i did this in my M3 and it was awesome) but if the navcubby screen is partially covered it could be a pain in the ***.

What do you guys think...?

i have a screen in my nav cubby as well with my avic d1 i love it. Both screens are hooked up to my playstation 2 in my glove box. I can watch dvds or play games on both screens or just one of them and have nav on the other. I like this setup more than any other i have seen. Just my 2 cents.
