I want to do my trunk area with a single square sub. I think the biggest size avail. is 15 inch. Anybody ever used one of these?

the only square subs i'm aware of are the kicker solobaric l7 and l5.
I have a 10" L7 in my civic and my girlfriend has two 10" JL W3 and I still think the L7 sounds better. It has a really nice tight hitting bass.

 

Yeah, the solobarics are pretty much the only game in town for a square sub. I had two 12" L7's in my lincoln, recently sold them to my friend. Loudest things ever, they're good for really loud booming, but their SQ isnt really as great as other subs.

One of their best advantages though is that they can hit really low tones. Due to being square, they have a larger surface area than a round sub of the same size.. so a 12" L7 acts more like a 15" round sub.
