Default Dammit! Xbox is overheating!

I have an XBox in my glove and a power inverter right next to it. Its a modded XBox so its probably giving off more heat than a stock one. The combo of all the heat in an enclosed space makes the temps go through the roof, and it shuts itself down after 30 min or so.

My plan is to move the inverter elsewhere, but what can I do after that? Any suggestions?

Put the inverter under the false floor. That's where I put mine. Seems to work pretty well. Also you can prop the door of the glove box open to help with heat.

Looks like you need CAI for your XBOX .

Seriously though...you probably need to put additional fans to help cool that area & perhaps find a way to vent out the hot air. Maybe have some kind of custom vent somewhere.

That's what I'm thinking, but what a hassle. The power inverter is too tall for the false floor, and even so I think the heat is too much with both of them in there.

Cut out holes for two 120mm fans (blowing in & out) in the compartment door with a nice matching cover. Add a switch and you're set.
