Default what can i get for 300$?

im not too audio savy but i have a few hundred $$ to spend and performance mods are hard to come by for that much. I have the stock bose system. So is there anything in my price range that i could do to the bose system that would make a noticeable difference in the overall sound quality? thanks

$150 Aftermarket head unit with built in amplifier
$150 Front speakers components

or

$200 head unit
$100 2way coaxial front speakers

Thats what I would do if my budget was ~$300

Take your luck on ebay--

Clarion DXZ555MP H/U + Boston Acoustics S60s are about $300 total

do the ebay thing and get a decent headunit and the best speakers you can get... 2-way seperates would be good 6 1/2 then install it yourself... its easy just get the correct harness adaptor and look for a install guide on this site.
