Hey guys, got a Compustar 2W900FMR alarm here. It keeps on resetting on me... you know, when it makes that annoying ringing noise and the time on it resets to 12:00. It resets for no reason -- sometimes when I start the car or at random times when I seem to "bang" it around accidentally. Maybe it's just me... anyone else have this problem? Thanks

 

Sounds like a pain the butt - you have to be able to trust the alarm. I would suspect that the power +12V and ground might be loose and that the back-up battery is dead. It does come with a back-up battery right?

 

The time should be kept in the remote itself, so if the time is resetting I would say you have a loose connection in the battery compartment of the remote.
