The code on the Pionner AVIC N2 video lockout has already been cracked.

thanks for the info!
They aren't made specifically for cars, but they are about the size of a DVD movie in it's case. You could easily get the PS2 and the controllers in one of the cubbies behind the seat. I haven't wired one, but I'm guessing it's not all that hard. The hardest part would be getting power to it.

Ok....so I thought I was going to go w/ the Alpine CDA-9855(CDplayer), install a farenheit LCD in the above cubby and go w/ a middle of the road DVD player. Then I just found this headunit that looks SWEET! It is the BRAND new Alpine DVA-9965. Way better lighting. 9855 has Biolite, the 9965 has Vividbiolite w/ Icons...looks much better to me. Anyway, this unit is a fully digital HD ready DVD player as well. After doing some research on pricing I came to realize.....it's expensive. Cheapest I found it was for $1078, it retails for $1600.
I am starting to wonder if I should just get the Kenwood DDX-7017? I really wanted to have an LCD mounted in the above cuddy spot. But it just seems so much easier to get an all in one unit.

Any suggestions on this?

7017 is the way I would go.

I know you mentioned you were doing one in a Z, how did that turn out? It's starting to make sense to do the 7017, just seems a lot easier and cleaner. I was mainly trying to use the above cuddy spot for an LCD but I guess i'll live w/ out. I was curious, while your playing a CD, is there some sort of wallpaper/screensaver on the screen?

Thank you, We have been specializing on Z and Supras for a while now. We did the first Z back in December 2002 when they first came out. That is when we started developing our MagicBox enclosures for the Z. Since than we must have done close to 30 350Z's.
